False statement mailed to me
A year ago I paid by check for one year of southern living. I did this because I have frequently had problems with them when it comes time to renew.
So I received a letter in the mail today saying that when you ordered your subscription we offered you the convenience of being billed later, and we believed that you would pay your invoice upon receipt. Today we have no record of receiving payment from you. Please remit payment for your balance due today.
I have no balance due today as I did not give them permission to renew my subscription at any time. I paid for one year and I received one year.
I should then be given the chance of whether or not, I want to renew, not be told that when I ordered the subscription a year ago and because they believedthat I would renew,
I now have a balance due.
I do not have a balance due, as I have not asked that my subscription be renewed!
Unbelievable false advertising! They should be reported to BBB for using this tactic!

My conversation with a customer service representative was terrible. I could not understand her and she refused to really listen to me. I list several months off my subscription having talked to her.

Haven’t received magazine
A check was sent on 4/30/2024 and cashed in 5/8/2024-check number 6125. I have not received any magazines. Can you look into this?

Fraudulent charges for years
Southern Living has been charging my credit card for years without authorization. They would only reverse this years charge for 43.53 and no more.
How is this not fraud??? Hope somebody gets them.

Dissatisfied
I received my first magazine of Southern Living and have to say that I wasted my money on it. 90% of this magazine comes from ads.
No wonder it isn't sold in stores.
There is no price on the cover . Never again.

They didn't perform service as promised
I paid for subscription and mailed in for "three free gifts" in mid-April. Nothing arrived so by mid-July I called to inquire.
They said they cannot fulfill one of the 3 gifts which is Special Holiday Edition because there are none left (what?? Bizarre reason as I'm certain it hasn't even been printed yet) then she said my first magazine should arrive in August...wondering if it would have even been mailed if I didn't call?

Trying to find out if there is a magazine printed by your co strictly on SC or specifically on Aiken S C. Im in CA and will be moving to Aiken in the future.
But only interested in SC.
If you do publish a magazine in this genre I would be interested in getting a subscription

I was charged $22 for renewal of souther living and thought I was getting it for $11! Not happy!
I renewed my subscription and was supposed to be charged $11 and was charged $22 cancel this subscription unless I can get a refund fo $11 that was told I would pay.

The two free gifts of Southern Living have been received by recipients. In regard to this. I renewed my Southern Living order and was suppose to have received a free cookbook with new order of magazine, which I have not received at all.

Dandelions
I am 75 and I think dandelions are beautiful. They are a cheerful yellow that brings a smile; they are simple, humble--we humans could learn good lessons from them.

Double Issues issue
I have been receiving SL since I was 19 and will subscribe until I can no longer read. I cook almost entirely from their recipes, travel with SLs recommendations, garden with ideas from Grumpy and gardening articles and enjoy articles about renovations.
However, it seems I am receiving more and more double issues and fewer monthly issues.
Also, my subscription, in the past, guaranteed I would receive my issue before they were available in local stores.
Not true anymore. Whats going on?
Preferred solution: Return to previous magazine each month and mailed to subscribers early.
